CLDP continues to provide ongoing assistance to the Stability Pact Trade Working Group (SPTWG) by sponsoring the attendance of the Trade Working Group (TWG) representatives to the meeting.

In response to a request by the State Department, CLDP will begin providing technical assistance to an association of Palestinian lawyers whose goal is to harmonize and update commercial laws in the West Bank and Gaza.

CLDP worked with the Federal Judicial Academy, IPO Pakistan and the Punjab High Court to establish a conveniently re-usable IP module to sensitize judges to intellectual property.

A CLDP advisor from USPTO traveled to Egypt to conduct an intensive ten-day training course to help train the Egyptian Trademark Office (ETO) on using the International Classification of the Figurative Elements of Marks Vienna Classification System.

CLDP, in cooperation with CBP, organized an advanced road-show in four Moroccan cities where CBP experts conducted workshops on technical assistance related to rules of origin provisions of the FTA as they pertain to textiles and apparel.
