CLDP in conjunction with experts from U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) conducted an assessment of the Sultanate of Oman’s ability to implement their customs obligations under the U.S.-Oman Free Trade Agreement.

CLDP coordinated a two-day workshop-conference, to be held from September 13-14 in Manila for roughly 200 attendees from the Philippines IPO, academia, law enforcement, and private sector.

In September 2006, CLDP in conjunction with the American Bar Association, the Arab Council for Judicial and Legal Studies, and the Bahrain Ministry of Justice presented a regional conference focused on training judges regarding the adjudication of electronic commerce disputes.

The 3 day workshop for Egyptian Competition Authority staff took place on September 10-12, 2006. Approximately 40 participants reviewed case studies and competition strategies with 2 legal and economic experts from the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and one economist from the U.S.
