CLDP in Action

      Thanks to the 3-day, CLDP organized workshop, three main results were achieved. First, the Jordanian judges, all of whom adjudicate commercial cases, now understand how foreign arbitral awards can be enforced in Jordan.

      CLDP collaborated with deans and law professors in universities in Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and the UAE to provide administrative support to law schools to teach commercial law curricula, and provided expert law school administrators who are advising the faculties on a continuing basis.

      CLDP staff and advisors completed the initial stage of installation of a computer network at the Palácio D. Ana Joaquina court building in Luanda.

      CLDP organized and presented, through its advisors from the FTC and DOJ, a one-week training seminar in Cairo, Egypt.
