CLDP has teamed with the WTO Accession team right from the beginning to help Ukraine navigate the long road to accession.

As part of its ongoing support to the Government of Ukraine in their effort to adopt legislation and implementing measures for intellectual property enforcement as called for in the WTO TRIPS Agreement, the CLDP held a two-day workshop for judges representing a number of Ukrainian Oblasts.

CLDP convened the seventh meeting for the members of the Southeast Europe Food Safety, Animal Health, and Plant Health working groups in Montenegro.

In April 2009, a delegation from the Ukrainian State Department of Intellectual Property successfully concluded its consultation program in Washington, DC.

CLDP and USPTO organized a two-day workshop for 25 judges, utilizing expertise from the U.S. Judiciary, USPTO, CLDP, the U.S. Department of Justice, the State Department of Intellectual Property of Ukraine, and the IPR Enforcement Manual.

CLDP organized two-week consultations in Washington, DC for a judge from the State Court of BiH and a prosecutor from the State Prosecutor's Office in BiH.

CLDP convened in Sofia, Bulgaria the eighth and final regional meeting for the members of the Southeast Europe Food Safety, Animal Health, and Plant Health working groups.

CLDP organized, in close coordination with the US Embassy in Kosovo, the Kosovo IT Association, and the American University in Kosovo, a workshop in Pristina focused on Software Development and Intellectual Property.

In response to needs expressed by the BiH government, the BiH business community, and the BiH legal community, CLDP organized a program on investigation and adjudication of intellectual property infringement cases.

CLDP provided a workshop with the Moldovan Ministry of Economy and government procurement office to train a professional cadre of government procurement officials to meet the requirements and obligations of the plurilateral Public Procurement Agreement of the WTO.
