CLDP held a series of three workshops on September 9-11 & 13 on public-private partnerships (PPPs) in partnership with the Investment Board of Nepal (IBN) and the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu. The first workshop was a two-day workshop for government ministries.

On September 3, 2019, in Bamako, Mali, CLDP led a one-day meeting to build consensus among public and private sector stakeholders on an upcoming communication campaign aiming to prevent the use of counterfeits. This effort is part of a Mali-wide project with the U.S.

On August 23-25, 2019, in Male, Maldives, CLDP led workshops for Sri Lankan and Maldivian judges on mediation and arbitration. The event highlighted the importance of joining and implementing both the New York and Singapore conventions.

On August 21, 2019, in Tunis, Tunisia, CLDP led a workshop on technical aspects of successfully exporting handicrafts for 100 local small and medium-sized enterprises that produce artisanal products.

On August 19-21, 2019, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, CLDP held a conference in cooperation with the World Bank and Sri Lanka Customs on Article I of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Agreement on Trade Facilitation (TFA).
