CLDP, in close cooperation with Ukraine’s Customs Service and Ukraine’s private industry, held a two-day workshop on identification and interdiction of counterfeit and pirated products on February 22-23.

During this first phase of the planned three phase Advance Rulings program, CLDP and US Customs experts traveled to Oman and met with Omani Customs officials from February 19-22 to explain the obligations under Article 5.10 (Advance Rulings).

In November 2010, Iraq created its first commercial court in Baghdad to hear commercial cases involving at least one foreign party in order to provide assurances to foreign investors and suppliers that potential commercial disputes will be adjudicated promptly and competently.
