PC and Windows Training for Angolan Court Officials

In preparation for the launch of automation at the Luanda Provincial Court in October 2006, CLDP organized a PC and Windows training for 21 court officials in Luanda.

During this program, CLDP staff and Angolan trainers traveled to Lubango and implemented modern case management techniques and random selection of judges in the Huila Provincial Court by training 17 court clerks and 2 judges.

CLDP continued to provide ongoing assistance to the Stability Pact Trade Working Group (SPTWG) by sponsoring the attendance of the Trade Working Group (TWG) representatives to a two-day meeting in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Commercial Code Advising in Qatar

CLDP provides additional assistance to the Qatar Ministry of Economy and Commerce as well as the New Commercial Code Committee in Qatar to continue to assist Qatar in revising its commercial code to comply with international standards.
