On August 20 – 21, CLDP, alongside U.S. Embassy Accra as well as international and regional trade and investment partners, hosted a workshop on franchise investment opportunities for local entrepreneurs and prospective investors.

On August 21-23, CLDP conducted a workshop with the Lao PDR Ministry of Justice on international commercial arbitration with a focus on case studies and practices. The workshop covered jurisdiction, pleadings, document production, interim relief, and cross examination.

From August 20-22, 2023, CLDP held a Judicial Exchange on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The goal of the program was to support the Pakistan Supreme Court-led ADR Task Force on developing a national ADR framework and strategy.

On August 16-17 CLDP and the Nepal Bar Association (NBA) conducted consultations for private sector attorneys on the establishment of a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) program in the country.

On August 7-15, CLDP, in cooperation with the General Directorate for Public Contracting (DGCP), hosted three workshops focused on best practices in the implementation of value for money procurement principles.
