Two federal judges, a United States Patent and Trademark Attorney, and a private sector attorney conducted a two-day workshop in Cairo for 120 Egyptian judges on the legal ramifications of the recently enacted Egyptian intellectual property law.

CLDP participated in a two-day meeting to finalize the constitutive and governing documents and a preliminary two-year agenda for the Africa Law Institute. The meeting also succeeded in determining a location for ALI and its launch.

Ten Algerian bankers attended a 2-day conference organized by the Robert Morris Associates in Chicago. Speakers and presenters were representatives of private US banks who specialize in servicing small and medium sized enterprises.
