On September 16, CLDP conducted a workshop on commercial arbitration for members of the Thailand Ministry of Justice (MOJ). This workshop is a continuation of the work with MOJ to develop alternative dispute resolution in order to attract private investment to Thailand.

From September 13-15, 2024, CLDP held a Summer Course on International Commercial Arbitration in Kraków, Poland, hosted by Jagiellonian University.

On September 12-13, in Manila, CLDP conducted a workshop on port concession agreements for the Philippines’ Department of Transportation and Public-Private Partnership Center. Participants reviewed and drafted key clauses of concession agreements.

CLDP hosted a Regional Western Balkans Customs Workshop in Zagreb, Croatia in partnership with the Croatian Customs Administration from September 11-13, 2024. Officials from Croatian Customs presented an overview of Croatian practices in post-clearance audit, digitization and IT, and NCTS.

The Georgian Association of Arbitrators (GAA), in cooperation with the Commercial Law Development Program of the U.S. Department of Commerce (CLDP), have successfully conducted the Borjomi Summer School for Georgian Law Students from 6 – 11 September.
